LOCATION
L'Olmo is situated in a secluded and elevated position, 600 meters above the village of Londa with spectacular panoramic views of a unique and undiscovered area of Tuscany known as the Mugello/Val di Sieve.

HOW TO REACH US
The area is served by 4 major airports - Florence, Pisa, Bologna and Forli and is easily accessed from the A1 autostrada at Barberino di Mugello in the north and Incisa and Firenze Sud in the south. We provide detailed directions of how to reach l'Olmo by car. Londa is just 45 minutes from Florence by train.

ABOUT THE AREA
The Mugello was the home of the Medici
, men of great culture and patrons of artists and writers as well as businessmen and bankers. The lush green rolling landscape is dotted with tall cypresses, peaks and passes and many old Medici palaces and villas remain. The whole area is rich in culture and art and provides the perfect setting to explore and investigate or relax and enjoy the many riches the area has to offer.

SIGHTSEEING

Londa is a lively village 10 minutes away with a variety of shops, bank, bar, newsagent, pharmacy, beauty salon and two excellent restaurants.
The area is a gastronomic paradise with wonderful fresh and interesting foods (cheese, salami, olive oil, wine, etc.) produced locally and sold in the many weekly markets and local delicatessens.
